The Unpaved Road-to-Restoration

Hello all! My hope with this blog is to share my restoration of a 1970 240Z Works Rally Spec with any rally enthusiasts who are curious and interested in seeing up-close some of the details of a very early Nissan Works S30. There's plenty of pieces to show and tell, and I hope all Z fans who read this restoration blog will find it interesting and informative. Together we can muse, discuss, learn, and wonder over some of the thinking that went into many of the early design decisions.

Enough boring prologue- I'll try and get to most of the details as we go along, and hopefully a few other community members will contribute as well. I've spent the last two months doing some preliminary work on the car, putting pieces together, examining things and making some discoveries, so I'm going to dive right in with the details.

I need to say in advance that some of the information and pictures I have garnered over the past several years is/are not yet fully re-shareable by me in a public forum – sorry about that. I'll do my best to share what I can.
